Privacy Notice (KVKK)

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), AHT Makina San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("AHT Machinery" or the "Company"), acting as data controller, wishes to inform you about how the personal data we collect from you is processed, stored, and transferred.

Personal data is collected through electronic channels such as our website's contact form, with your active participation and after you have read and confirmed this notice. Legal bases for processing are explicit consent under KVKK Art. 5/1, and the grounds of "performance of a contract", "compliance with a legal obligation", and "legitimate interest of the data controller provided that it does not harm fundamental rights and freedoms" under KVKK Art. 5/2 (c, e, f).

5. Data Transfer

Collected personal data may only be shared, to the extent necessary for the purposes above, with:

Authorized public institutions and bodies, within the framework of our legal obligations
A limited number of service providers (hosting, email delivery) involved in fulfilling your request
Judicial and administrative authorities upon official request

Cross-border transfers are made only to countries that the Personal Data Protection Board has determined to provide adequate protection or that provide adequate protection by way of undertaking, in accordance with KVKK Art. 9.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is processed until your request is concluded and our legal retention obligations expire. Data is stored only for the period required by applicable law; once the period ends or the processing purpose ceases, the data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

7. Your Rights under KVKK Art. 11

As a data subject, you have the following rights under Article 11 of KVKK:

To learn whether your personal data is being processed
To request information about the processing if it is being carried out
To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
To know the third parties to whom data is transferred, domestically or abroad
To request correction of incomplete or incorrect data
To request deletion or destruction of data when conditions are met
To object to outcomes produced against you through automated systems
To demand compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing

8. How to Apply

To exercise the rights listed above, you may submit a written application to info@ahtmakina.com.tr together with documents verifying your identity. Under KVKK Art. 13, your request will be concluded within 30 (thirty) days at the latest. If your application is rejected, you retain the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board.

9. Cookies

Our website does not use marketing or analytics cookies beyond strictly necessary ones. Strictly necessary cookies are used only for functions such as form submission and session security; these cannot be disabled.

10. Changes

This notice may be revised in line with changes in legislation or the Company's practices. The current text is published on this page; for material changes a brief notice will be displayed on the homepage for a short period.
